I'm thinking the negative (black) has a leg from the black circle (1.5mh to .56mh) to the black arrow, and a leg for the positive (red circle) to the red arrow (3.6mh to 5 ohm resistor).  Hope the diagram helps explain what I'm asking.

Yes. Or those components can be connected together without the use on any wire. See the sticky post entitled crossovers 101.

Awesome.  I get it now.  Thanks for all your help.  Much appreciated.

Good gracious, how do you figure this stuff out?   :duh: :D

A look from above of a Ninja Assembled Super V crossover. The new wax and copper cap and extra woofer coil are very new and not in this pic. The Standard Sonicap is in place with a platinum bypass.

I think I am going to build new crossover boards with the newer circut and make them switchable with terminals to make future upgrades easy.

Adding terminals to the signal path will actually degrade the sound quite a bit. I wouldn't.

mono-tubeleosis, sorry for the delay in posting pics.  I can't seem to find mine at the moment.  If you still need them, let me know and I will dig deeper :)

I'm good to go now.  Thanks.  Danny was able to help through my stupidity and I have what I think is a mighty fine looking crossover!  I'll send pictures later.  I'm almost done with the second one now.  Just need to add the wires.

Old thread... can anyone post pics of a finished super v crossover with the Jupiter upgrade? First ever crossover, don't want to screw this up. Saw the V-2 xover thread but this one is more complex!

Danny, can you clarify something in the picture of your Super-V crossover? Where the wires connect to the crossover on the lower lefthand location, there is a red wire from that connection going to the left and disappearing under the white wire. Doesn't seem like that should connect back to the white wire. Just would like to know if it has a purpose . Thanks, Paul

Those two wires do not connect. They become a twisted pair that head down the inside of the cabinet to the tube connectors. Those are the input wires on the crossover.

Just to be clear , that red wire going under the white wire to the left from that first connection goes nowhere. Thanks

Oh, I see what you are talking about.

That is the wire that connects to the positive terminal of the tweeter. It comes back to the shunt inductor that is in the tweeter circuit (Red inductor on the right hand side) then heads back to the source passing under the positive legs and connecting to the negative input wire where that Black Erse cap is connected.
