EAC filenames

Hopefully this should be easy.  Before the new computer everything worked fine.

When I rip and convert a CD the tracks end up in my library folder but they are all scattered.
They used to go into an new file of the file of the artist.
Under EAC options>filename do I just %artist% %album% track% ??
and do I check various naming scheme?  if so, what should go there?

thanks much

Rich, I have:

%A - %C - %N - %T

and then %C %N %A %T in the second box on the right.

This may be inconsistent with others but has been my set-up for years.

Everyone has their own filing system, but I put everything (in Music folder) in seperate folders by Artist then Album then subfolders for CD1, CD2, etc. if necessary.  For compilation albums, Various Artists then Album.  It makes a manual search easy.

Thanks guys.  Pete the newer version of eac uses actual descriptions instead of A, C, etc. so not sure what A referenced to.

Thump, that sounds like how I want them Folder (music library)> Folder (Artist) > Folder (Album title) >Folder (track titles)

I just tried something but it keeps dumping the title tracks into the music library folder.  I then have to create new folders and arrange them myself.  :(

Try using slashes between the folder name and the artist and title instead of just the dash.

The mouse over helps in this regard too, but of course I didn't believe that  :P
