sounds like you need an amplifier also?  or do you have an amp that you didn't mention above.  so i am wondering if you need an integrated amp.  just looked on Audiogon there is a few in your price range.   http://buy.audiogon.com/cgia/fsb.pl?intatran

Look for an Onkyo A-9555 on the bay or audiogon. You will be able to find one for very near that price and it will serve you well for a long time.

Can you tell us about the gear you plan to use with it, and we can advise you better?  No doubt you can put together a sweet sounding system for not a lot of $$$.
