SP2- Balanced with Unbalanced

Hi James, thinking of purchasing an SP2.

If I use both balanced and unbalanced outputs won't they have different gain?

Yes but you can set the gain on the subs independently using their built in volume.

I wanted to use an extra pair of speaker and a second center channel. Do I just set the gain switch on the amps for these speakers? :?

Yes if you have Bryston amps that would work as well.

Will be auditioning the SP2 tomorrow. I know it is class A, I know it has an ultra low noise floor, I know it is liquid smooth. What I want to know is if it retains the full harmonic sound I've gotten use to with my av/receiver in enhanced mode. I suspect that it will but I have to be sure.

Then I have to make the purchase, that's when my knees will start to shake and possibly give out. 8)
