Bryston Website
« on: 15 Jun 2011, 07:44 pm »
Greetings all.  I look to manufacturer's websites to provide the latest information on a company, it's current product line and the company's future direction with regard to its products and philosophies.  The latest information I can find on the Bryston website seems to be no more current than October 2008.  Is the website gone dormant for nearly three years or am I going to the "wrong" Bryston website?  Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

It's not completely dorment, but it is close to.
Fortunately the Brystonians are working on a new site, with a fresh and new look, up-to-date information and lots of goodies that are not available now, like a link to this forum.

James,

I know we've discussed what we'd like to see on the new website ad nauseum, but I think it would be great to have a few videos about the factory, people working there, and how your gear is made.  Please do me a favor and check out some Corum videos on YouTube to get an idea of what I'm talking about.

I'm having problems pasting web addresses from YouTube on my iPhone, but if you search "Corum Artisan" and "Corum Marquetry" you'll get a sense of what I mean.

I saw those videos at a store in Atlantis in the Bahamas.  People were watching them and realizing why the watches cost what they did.  Great videos that convey the craftsmanship in their work.  Maybe dress your guys and gals in some lab coats and pretty up the shop if necessary?

I'd love to see a video like that on how my B60 was made.  Just sayin'!

Sorry...

People were huddled around the relatively small monitor in awe of what goes into the watches.  One person commented 'it's great to see someone still takes craftsmanship seriously.'
