Hi Jason.

Unfortunately I upgraded from Ref 9SE to V2SE about a week before you announced the V3SE upgrade. Can I trade/upgrade my V2SE to Ref 18. If so,
How much extra to pay? That path is not listed on your website. (unless of course it would mean I would need to pay the $400 per amp to V3SE then the $4600 trade to Ref 18 = $5400)

Would appreciate your response.

Graham

Since the MSRP of Ref9V2SE and V3SE are the same, we can accept the same trade-in credit. Note that we have increased the trade-in credit to 65% of the MSRP of 9 series to give more assistant to people who want to move to another platform in the family.

Must be Ref 18 and P-9.  P-18 is not out yet, show at CES 2011.
Jason

My mistake I guess. Sorry about the confusion.

Cheers,
Bernard

Just read in Stereo Sound, JApanese high end audio publication, that the P18 had been selected as best value power amps below 1.000.000 Yen. The V3SE ranking 4th in the same category.

Congrats!

Bernard

Anyone has the English-translated version of the Stereo Page on Ref 18? Would like to read what it says. :D

A positive review for the Reference 18 is now up at 6moons. Does anyone have any further thoughts? I note that they are quite different sounding amplifiers.

Thanks.

:D Just picked up my Ref 18 yesterday and in process of breaking them in now.  Just wonder if many other Ref 18 owners noticed the LED brightness of the on/off swipe differs among the 2 monoblocs? Or just normal?  I stacked the 2 units for now and the contrast becomes a bit discerning
