I am selling a nearly brand new Jolida JD-1501P power amplifier. It was only taken out of the box for inspection and testing. It sounded very good right out of the box, and has less than one (1) hour of run time. This new hybrid amp uses a 12AX7 tube input stage coupled to a solid state MOSFET output stage. It produces 100 watts into 8 ohms and 200 watts into 4 ohms. The amp has both balanced XLR and single ended RCA inputs.
This is basically the same amp as the JD-1501RC tube integrated (retails for $825). I have owned amps from Outlaw Audio, Bel Canto, Wyred 4 Sound, and Channel Island. Also auditioned Nuforce. This amp is only slightly below CI Audio D200's and Nufore, but holds its own against other brands. So the 1501 series punches well above its price point. With adequate break-in, along with some nice 12AX7's like Shuguang Pavane Reference or perhaps some GE 5751 black / gray plates, this amp would easily compete with anything in the $1,000-$1,500 range IMHO. Invest another $500 or so in mods (recommendation available) and you've got a stellar performer.
