I quite fancy trying the Takman resistors in my cornet2 but can only get most of the required values in 1/2w not 1w.
Will this be ok, will stick to 1w on the power side of thiongs.

You need 1W on the plate resistors and in the B+ supply.

I upgraded the 12ax7 plate resistors in my cornet to kiwame 2w, and the
12ax7 cathodes to mills 5w non-inductive, then the first grid stopper to takman, it turned out to be a nice sounding upgrade, not crazy money, and the noise floor dropped even lower.

Simple calculations gives us:
0,125W - R104-R106, R108, R200-R201, R203-R205, R207-R208, R210, R212-R219, R222.
0,25W - R103.
0,5W - R101-R102 (short overheating for about 35ms), R206 (High Voltage!, depends on company), R211 (High Voltage too+short overheating for about 0,5s).
1W - R107, R202, R209, R220-R221 (short overheatig for about 200ms)
2W - R100, R223 (short overheating for about 36ms)

I like to use a power rating of 4x the actual dissipation.  Otherwise, parts can get super hot.  For example, if a part has 0.27W dissipation, I'll use a 1W part.
