I've been grinding away for hours with XLD transcoding my old slimserver music library of flac and wav files into a (hopefully, tbd) unified iTunes library of AIF files.
As part of this effort, I've discovered a mish-mash of missing tag info, album artwork and duplicate files. An Apple tech consultant I leaned on for getting me on the right path suggested after the transcoding is complete, to run everything through this Song Sergeant program. I did a quick search here and found no mention of it. When we looked at it yesterday, it was a $20 download from Lairware. I just noticed it appears to be a free download at the apple website.
