Anyone using IcePower with Selah speakers?

I'm toying with the idea of getting a 5-channel IcePower amp for my HT. Was looking at this W4S one:

Thought about going with Emotiva as well but I've heard they can sound bright and thin. Then again Emo is 1/4 the price.

How critical are you with your HT sound? For music I can understand going a different route but with HT when you're just basically going for bigger sound you'd might as well save some money and go with Emotiva.

Not too bad. Just mostly looking for higher SPL and more dynamics. Also, the $1500 cost differential could buy a lot of room treatments, and the Emo/treated room setup could well end up sounding better.

The Wyred4sound will not be thin and bright, it will be dynamic.  There are some Wyred4sound reviews in AudioCircle.  Rick Cullen designs and builds high value products.

Yeah I don't doubt it, I've read great reviews of W4S on 6moons and other sites, and none of them have described them as bright. I was talking about a few Emotiva reviews I've read. I have a low tolerance for bright components, but my receiver has EQ on it so I can tone it down if needed.
