Looking for options on loading this cartridge into a Rogue 99 Magnum phono stage.

Where did the 1.0mv output come from? My catalog says 20X-LO is .3mv and 20X-HI is 2.8mv.

The 1.0mV is a special VPI edition.

In my catalog, the HI output says 1K ohm, the low, 30 ohm. I think I would direct this question to VPI.

I would think that 100 ohms might be a good place to start.

The info I have so far says greater than 1000 ohms.

Yup, 1000 ohms or so is where I'd start with a 1.0mv moving coil. It may end up being 500 ohm or maybe 1.8K...but somewhere around there probably.

Final verdict is always the ears....but here is a calculator that tells you where it should be with electrical parameters only: http://www.hagtech.com/loading.html

For instance, if it's 0.6mH inductance (a rough estimate as most high output MC's are under 1 to begin with - the lower the voltage so too is their inductance - one of the biggest benefits moving coils have over MI/MM's) and 200pf capacitance - the calc says ideal resonant frequency is 460kHz. I'd think, but don't know for sure, that would be a bit too low of a loading point - but, again, your ears will tell ya' :)

However, this doesn't take into account mechanical interaction of the stylus/cantilever...so it's a rough guide only.  Ultimately, your ears will guide you right :thumb:
