Just a heads up on a decent deal for G11. Canon has an under-publicized loyalty program. If you have an old non-working Canon camera you can likely trade it in and get a refurbed G11 for ~ $250. Reports I've read is that the refurbs are "as new". You can supposedly even pick up a busted up old camera on ebay and use it to trade in. Doesn't have to be a camera you orginally purchased or registered.
To do this you need to call Canon Tech Support at 866-443-8002 or 800-828-4040 to get started. You will need the serial number of the camera you want to trade in. They will give you upgrade options; one of which should be the G11.
