just wondering if anyone can share their isabellina setup for HD computer Music , 24bit 192kHz or even higherfor windows xp base, I am using foobar with asio, I need to resample rate to 44.1kHz to play native 96000Hz filesis there a more ideal way to play HD music on pc with isabellina?
funny thing... I couldnt play 192khz file, but I could play 96khzplaying through musiland monitor USD 01any thoughts?
As a follow-up, I downloaded the 15 day trial of Channel D's Pure Audio software.... very cool. It runs in the background of iTunes. You interact with iTunes, but iTunes is no longer in control of the digital stream to you DAC; it only serves as the database and user control interface. Bass articulation and three dimensionality were both noticeably improved immediately. I haven't played with changing the sampling/upsampling rates yet, but this is a no-brainer upgrade to anyone using iTunes/Mac for your source (not sure about PCs though). Just make sure to turn on the Isabella DAC AFTER the software is running, otherwise you just have to turn off and on again the DAC.
Hi texendo,Thanks for sharing info about Channel D's software. Is this similar to Amarra? Have you compared it to Amarra? Thanks again,VinnieHere is some more reading about the two. http://www.computeraudiophile.com/content/Pure-Music
