Maybe it's just me, but grill cloth seems like the easiest and most proven method.
Bevan,In the MOX-thread: http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=31582.90 there is a very accurate simulation I did on page 10.This simu is based on the actual impedance of B200 at the different frequencies as well as comparing to an accurate estimation (the most recent published)in the German Hobby HiFi magazine. This should give a good perspective. The going 'truth' in Germany is that the B200 should be accompanied by 1 mH + 10-15 ohms for best results.
Maybe I just haven't followed this (and related) B200 threads closely, but as I read it you guys are leaning more and more towards the setup that is recommended by the Visaton themselves, in their NoBox kit: 1.5 mH + 10 Ohm cascaded after a 2nd order high-pass @ 250 Hz. So, question is: Anyone tried the B200 (with or without correction circuit) in a NoBox-alike setup ?i.e. B200 run FR + bass below ?TIA,FlorianP.S. Another reason I am asking is that I'm hesitating btw. getting the whole NoBox kit from Visaton (eventually adding the phase plugs on the B200) vs using the Feastrex D5nf + Augie version (mo moolah), both either in a biamping setup or not (depending how it turns out).
There is one more site that is good and I also have visited it,this has provided mcts 70-562 me such information that is really unique and the service that they offer also I have mcse 2008 certification experienced, really I enjoy this service so I want to make an appeal to others please visit this and I want to tell you that after experiencing this service you’ll enjoy it again and again.mcsa
