Last years thread < about the promises we make to ourselves was interesting for me to reread today.
Here's a copy and paste of mine with strike through.
How bout yours?

- Build bass traps.
- Get wife's PC on the network so she has access to my music.
- Get Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3 online. (not technically "audio", but they're in my equipment rack therefore it counts).
- Build new open baffles for left, center, right and two surrounds.
- Run dedicated AC lines to rack from dedicated breakers (instead of my current 'rig job'). 
- Build ALL new power cables.
- Build ALL new innerconnect cables.
- Buy new fabric material for projection screen. (painted actually)
- Finish trim work in listening/HT room. (That I started 6 years ago)  still haven't done that 
- Finish building listening/HT room bathroom. ahhhh it's better than 50% complete 
- Build sound isolation box for noisy PC and external music server/harddrive.
- Dampen/quite the noisy refrigerator in listening/HT room. 
- Plot FR graphs of room to see what areas I need to work on.
- Buy more music, DVD's, Blue-Ray content (of course).
- Increase bass output. (Actually did that this past weekend, so I'm off to a good start).

I suppose I did alright for a years worth of work. 

I don't think I'm going to add to the list for 2010, this is still more than enough for this coming year without adding more.

Well...I got absolutely nowhere 

This one is mine from last year...

- finish my Epiphany external crossovers
- finish the restoration of my HH Scott 299 - ...well, I got a little farther on this one
- finish building my tubed phono stage
- build new bass cabinets for my 15" Altec 416s
- build new power cords for my system - I did buy some of Occam's PCs 
- build a new stand/equipment rack for my 65" Mits/Integra 9.8/Oppo/DTV
- build my DIY balanced power conditioner with extra filtering for my HT
- Build and install my remote volume control for my pre's (2)
- stop working so damned much so I can actually enjoy all my toys

I really need to make that last one my top priority

• make or buy some surrounds (for movies)
• make or buy a sub woofer  (for movies)
• Build or buy balanced interconnects (switch 2 channel side over to XLR/balanced)
• get some banana plugs
• try "black treasures" in Transporter
• Get into a better room!
• Build some treatments for that room
