I know this is unrelated but. Steve thank you very much for introducing me to the Consonance Cyber 211 mono blocks. They are everything you said they were in your review....
BTW good luck with test disc.
A most humble thanks Charles. Yes, color me very particular and will always tell it like it is.
As for the album, i REALLY wish someone here would not be 'trigger shy' and try it.... even if it just the first and last track though of course the entire album purchase is 'cheaper' if you want all tracks. Seriously guys, i KNEW if i did an album, it was ALL me from engineering to playing of the instrument and it stunk i'd get it on all sides from audio guys to my drum/percussion buddies (and the drum guys are fearless in their critique, then again so are 'philes).
Please, someone, just try it. If you hate it that bad, if the sound quality is not to your liking lemme know as am SURE i'll make it right. Was totally retentive on the sound quality to the point it took me EIGHT HOURS just to find the right mic positions (and this is just TWO mics total mind you). As for the actual musical performance, shall let you decide of course. So please, pretty please, with sugar on a top and a cherry try it. So far those reviewers who have tried it have come away very impressed and hopefully a few print guys will publish reviews in the coming months. Of course you could wait, that's cool with me... but then you lose out on months of musical pleasure and truly hearing what your system is capable of.
Again, if you hate it that bad and you feel the sound quality is lacking (24/96), tag me via PM or e-mail ad i'll make it right. On the other end, you buy it and like it please let people know. Want both positive and and less than positive critiques on all things from SQ to my musicianship.
Be HONEST is all i ask.
