H2o Audio M250SE (Special Edition Monoblocks) for sale.
This pair of monoblocks is the absolute latest and top of the line offering from Henry Ho of H2o Audio. These amplifiers employ use of the ICE module, however couple them with conventional torroid transformers.
This pair of monoblocks takes Henry's former top of the line M250 Signature monoblocks and improves upon it in several aspects.
Some of the details are considered proprietary by Henry - however some of the improvements in the H2o Special Edition Mono's versus the Signature Monos are:
The Signature Mono's used a 800vA transformer per monoblock. The Special Edition mono's upgrade this to a 1,000vA transformer per mono.
Henry states both the quantity and quality of the input caps, input coupling caps, output caps, and output coupling caps are all improved, everything is voiced per Henry, as for the type and sizes of the capacitors, this information was requested to be kept proprietary.
In addition to the above changes, all internal wiring and other tweaks and modifications have been implemented however remain proprietary info.

I am the original owner, always used in a pet, smoke, & child free environment.
Conservatively rated at 9/10 as they appear new. These are in extremely pristine condition. Have original boxes, owners manual, etc.
I have owned both the H2o Signature monos (M250SA) and the H2o Special Edition monos (M250SE). I can personally attest for sonic improvements in overall greater sense of ease and power, an improvement in finesse, an improvement in transparency, improved micro and macro dynamics, as well as a greater sense of organics and liquidity in the midrange.
This would remain my reference pair of monoblocks if my system has not taken a drastic change of direction to high efficiency speakers and low powered single ended triode (SET) amps.
