When i first built my cornet it was in a hammond chassis it looked bad ,after reading lots of old posts i decided to upgrade the parts as well .My woodwork and metalwork skills are far better than my electrical .I am very happy with the looks and sound

Hi  Ash base then veneered with Macassar Ebony.Finish = sanding sealer 3 coats ,Danish oil 3 coats ,rubbing down between each coat up to 1000 grit.No wax. Plan to change chassis on my st35 amp (clone) to same ,matching pair should look good  cheers

What did you use as signal capasitators?
You using 47uF for the rectifier tube?
I thing for 5y3 tube u should use 10uF, or am i wrong?
Atleast it says so on 5y3gt datasheets.
But on hagermans it says to put 47uF, which to my knowledge shortertens the life on rectifiertube.
Correct me if i am wrong

Edit: and this looks stunning!  :thumb: :thumb:
