Hi Mike,
Generally you can state a 'fact' without permission - like so and so bought a product or so in so installed a system.
What you can't say are things like So and So thinks Such and Such is the best they have heard without permission. The quotes we got from BPO conductor Benjamin Zander selecting Bryston would be an example of that.
Also a lot of Studios will call and asked to be listed as a user.
