Bugle Direct to Amp

Hope this isn't a stupid question: I have pre-outs from my Marantz receiver to an Audiosource Amp 3. Is it okay for me to just run the Bugle directly into my Audiosource Amp 3, or should I pass it through the aux of my receiver?

You need to use the Aux inputs of the receiver, or, as a bare minimum put an attenuator (volume control) between the Bugle and the amp.

Thanks. The Audiosource has volume control so need I believe to worry about attenuation. I went ahead and patched the Bugle directly to the amp, the sound is much improved over the receiver aux inputs.
