What should I do?  Just clip the leads?

Just wondering, but why would you ever want to remove them?

Would you want unused hot leads floppin around you case?  Or should I just coil em up and tape them down?

Coil up and secure them with tape or whatever is my advice.  Cutting them off potentially ruins them for unforeseen applications in the future.

That was what I was thinking. You could also just put a wire cap on it, and then you could just forget about it. I just feel it would be a shame to ruin a toroid when there are a lot of options for covering wire leads.

You can always cut them shorter than what they are, but make sure they remain solderable and reachable. I would not want a foot of coiled junk in my chassis either but 4-5" should be managable.  :thumb:

well it would not be ruined either way.  It would still be a 2x18vac torroid
