I can give $$ and some music.  Waiting on what music he digs to see if I've got some for him, then I'll need address for the check to go.

Wow!  I have been out of the loop for about 10 days due to travel and just found this thread.  My heartfelt thoughts go out to him.  William and I just got to know each other through a recent equipment swap and this news saddens me because in telephone conversations with him I realize how important listening to music means to him.

I was very glad to read he and his daughter are okay.

If a fund is set up, I will most definitely contribute to it.

OK,  let's nail this down.

So far we have had several offers,  and I would think that the following would be awesome.
Please let me know if all of this is correct:

Mark @ Polk :   Speakers
Lazydays:  Anthem amp
Us:  Candela preamp
Jdodmead:  Rotel CD Player
MGalusha: MF  Turntable
Sonny & Arthurs:  Cables.

Everybody else,  music, music, music.
I also have quite a few records that are doubles,  etc.
Actually,  I already have received several packages with CD's and CDR's.  This is awesome.

Yes,  it might take a little bit for Bunky to get a place for any system to be set up,  but please,  let's nail this down now.

Thanks to all,

Klaus

Shipping should probably be to Mark @ Polk.

Klaus,

I have a Sony S9000ES DVD/SACD/CD player waiting to go out the door for this along with a couple power cords. The only thing that's holding this up is where to send it.

Please let us know.

Sonny, Klaus has you and I down for cables, were you planning on sending SC's or IC's?  I have plenty of ready to go IC's, but the Sc's I have would need to have a length adjustment as they are 20' long.

I have a 6 1/2 ft pair of Cardas SC cables gathering dust to go with the amp. Also will donate a quad set of tubes (as the tubes are about done on the Anthem). I've also got a couple Onkyo tuners laying around if that would be of any real help.

If anyone wants my shipping address, since I'll be staging the gear and handling the subsequent delivery, PM me offline. I'm also available thru Yahoo and AIM via IM.

I have a broken leg and at home most of the time so that's the best place to send things. You folks rule!

Aurthurs,
I can do the speaker cables...
I just need to know if it has to be bi-wired or not and how long it needs to be.
Thanks

Bunky,

I'm so very sorry to hear of this terrible loss but thank God you and your child are safe & sound. I don't know if you are a fan of my cables or not but I would like to offer to cable your system if you are interested. Of course I couldn't afford to do it in 24K gold but I'll still build you all custom cables and do your entire system free of charge. If you are interested please let me know.

Again, I'm so sorry that this has happened to you but I'm glad to hear that you and your family are safe.

Sincerely,
John Prator

You Guys are really something  :thumb: I am living with my sister and brother in law while i search for a house. I have to replace everything that i and Courtney owned except for a weeks worth of laundry that was in the trunk of my car during the fire. I am very grateful that we got out unharmed and that i have great friends @ the Audiocirles,Audionervosa and Club Polk who have been very kind to myself and my daughter Courtney.thanks....WCW III

I spoke with my fiancee and she has some clothes she can gather and we can send. My fiancee has a very small frame and she said the clothes should fit her, assuming she is 5'0 85lbs as I read in another thread. If these can be of help, someone please provide an address for me to ship them too. Thanks.
