I use the MIX OUT with analogs. You can also use the R/L w/ bypass ON on the regular analogs if you have them connected via XLR.

so MIX OUT with a analog connection to the headphone amp will work? i will buy a AVP-17 within a month or so hopefully so im just getting everything sorted out before the buy :)

is it a button to press to change between R/L output and the MIXOUT output? or is it a change in settings everytime?

i have never ever seen the avp-17 more then basic usage nothing about settings or stuff like that...

you don't have to do anything its constant feed so just turn of the amp when you don't want sound coming out.

enjoy it - it sounds great - and get their MultiChannel AMP if you don't have one...
