So if you're installing the nightly V7 for the first time, let it scan, etc.  Then do a complete wipe and rescan.  Doubt it will work the first time.

The only ebay rechargeable batteries I ever bought were worthless, wouldn't hold a charge, etc.  Didn't pay too much so it wasn't worth the hassle of trying to return them to Hong Kong, but they were a complete bust.

I now buy mine at Thomas Distributing, and have been very happy.  They have frequent sales & special deals if you can wait a while.  Link:

Thanks for the local battery tip, I did buy the ebay battery from Hong Kong - so far it works fine and OK as a standby.
