Has anyone out there tried the Rock Grotto Musical Fidelity X-CANS Capacitor Upgrade Kit for the version 1 X-CANS?  If so, what differences did it make to the sound of the unit and how difficult was it to do the mod's?  Was it worth the cost?  I'm using my X-CANS with a pair of AKG 701's, if that helps at all.

I brought my X-Can V3 and showed the RG upgrade package to the owner of Solen Canada. He found some of the mods to be a bit unnecessary. He replaced the output caps with a couple of Black Gates, a couple of Solen caps somewhere else in the path and removed a resistor. I'm happy with the result. He wanted to use Solens in the output stage except for that value they're the size of beer cans.
