Got mine yesterday.  Took about 5 minutes to get it up, configured, and on my encrypted wireless network.  Been too busy to reset my Slim Server to a static IP and try the skins out but will likely do that late tonight or early tomorrow sometime.

I got mine and don't have an SB3 - it was an impulse buy. It is neal nice looking. Internet is slow compared to PC of-course - perhaps it will improve with additional memory.

I just opened it 15 minutes and my wife is asking me why did you need one? what are you going to do? Can't you return.

Let me know if someone wants one.

PatioTunes for the N770

Thanks to Wayne for posting about the deal on woot.com.

I just got my 770 today and although I'm at work and haven't gotten it onto a wireless network, I thought I'd post a cool little application I found.
I don't have a SqueezeBox, I use an Intel iMac with AirPort Express to a Zhaolu dac. I've been looking for some sort of remote to control my iTunes without touching my iMac which is in different room. If anyone else is looking to do the same thing check out PatioTunes.

Install the Application on your Mac (Windows version too) point your N770 to the PatioTunes IP and you're good to go.

I haven't tried it yet with my 770, only tested the demo here at work and used firefox on my Windows computer to control the iTunes on my MacPro Tower... Worked great!

I'll try it with the 770 when I get home.

I both like and dislike my 770.  I like it because it does operate as an interface with the SB, and it allows me to surf the net from anywhere on the house.  With a newborn (who kept us up basically all night last night!), that's helpful.  However, mine will randomly reboot at times.  It will also randomly kill the browser at times.  It will display very complex web pages (AVS forums), but then I can't read the articles on CNN.  The SB interface is less than perfect.  For instance, on mine, if I'm looking at a view of an album with all the songs listed, and I want to scroll down to select a song, the bottom bar comes up as I scroll down!  The bar covers the 8th song, so I can never select that song!  That's BS.

Bob,

Mine has been rock solid for the uses I have.  It's definitely not a PC replacement, but I used it for 2 weeks wirelessly on a cruise ship this summer and it was great.  I didn't have to lug the notebook through airports in Europe either.

It's also working well for the SB2 in my case.  My expectations may just be lower for $130.  Still, I'd trade having a noisy notebook pc (mine IS) to select songs for this gladly.  I was choosing between a Dell Axiom PDA at $350-400 vs. this and it's worked out well for me so far.
