Is there an accessory that will enable me to turn the 14B ST on and off remotely? My pre-amp has no remote either so it won't be able to help here. Thanks in advance for any help

I believe the 14B ST has a 12 V trigger.  There are current sensing devices (ie turn on your preamp) which will then send a 12V trigger to your 14B ST.

I believe Radio Shack used to sell one.  Not sure if they still do.

A dealer suggested that I purchase a Bryston Pre-amp to solve this problem. Anybody have an old (and hence cheap) Bryston Pre that they want to get rid off? 240V preferred but 120V will be fine - I will get a transformer.

I couldn't get an appropriate solution from our local electronics stores.
