FM Audio through SB3
« on: 20 Aug 2006, 11:22 pm »
The only FM station I listen to is KKSF 103.7 S.F. Ca. Playing it through a tuner it sounds good. Sometimes(Like lately) I get a hiss. Poor reception and dropout. Thanks to my very good friend rashiki who got it tuned into my Slimdevices network I can listen to it through my SB3 system. Sounds a hell of a lot better than through a tuner. No hiss!!! No fadeout!!! Guess I'll have to retire my tuner. Big puzzlement to me though. I always thought a tuner was the only way to go! Must be something to do with computer technologie.

What is the stream address, so the rest of us can enjoy that station!

Charlie:
A lot of music sounds better through the SB. If you "rip" a cd to a music file on your computer using certain software and then play it from your computer to the SB either with a wired or wireless connection I think you will find it all sounds better.
