Just received my Sherwood NewCastle SD860 and right up front is seems a great bargain. (retail list $450)

There is a "Video Upgraded" version coming in about 30 days called the SD871 which had HDMI and Faroudja chip ($800)
http://www.sherwoodusa.com/prod_sd871.htmlSo far the SD860 has been very impressive in SACD. DVDA, and Redbook play. I have this in my Audio System so I won't be commenting on the Video section.
It also allows you to disable and shut down both Video and Digital circuits, so as to have either "Pure Digital" or "Pure Analog" functions.
I'll put 50-100 hours on before commenting on the sonics.
Straight out of the box, it bests my former Denon 2200 by a good bit.
I posted here since I am a Sherwood NewCastle Dealer.
