Hi folks,

I also have a pair of Gary Dodd power amplifiers – each of which have an issue so I'm selling them for parts to someone who may be able to fix them.

About the amps: Each amp has a single RCA 829B twin beam power tube and a pair of GE 7044 tubes for an output rating of 50 watts. The transformers are huge for a 50 watt amp, and they are using Sonicap Platinums in the critical signal areas. It is a single tube push-pull design. Its bandwidth is approx 14hz- 40khz, input sens. is around 1.2 volts for full output, they have 4 and 8 ohm taps on them and it uses all Cardas terminations.

Here's another post on AudioCircle about these amps: https://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=149849.0

This pair is broken. One amplifier has a hum, and the other has an issue with the transformer where it shorts out any time the unit is powered on and blows the fuse.

Asking $1250 + shipping.

I owned a pair of these once upon a time. Nice amps. Good luck with the sale.
