Bryston 10B STD Crossover

Bryston 10B STD Crossover

Anyone,
What does a crossover do?  And would my Thiel CS2.3 speakers benefit from using this one?

Bryston 10B are Active crossovers.  In order to use it with your Thiels, you would have to disconnect the Passive crossover inside and provide 3 separate channels of amplification per each speaker, one per driver.  You actually would need TWO Bryston 10B active crossovers for three-way speakers like yours.

In this case, I will not be getting one.  Perhaps if I had some cheap speakers, I would have considered it.

I realize you're are inquiring about the STD but there is also a 10B-SUB for integrating subwoofers. Just a fyi in case you were unaware.
