Front Wall Foam Diffuser Recommendations?

Front Wall Foam Diffuser Recommendations?

Planning for my future NX-Oticas. I believe diffusers are recommended on the wall behind the speakers correct? I also have a TV centered on that wall. Currently I place a heavy blanket over the TV when 2-channel listening. I'd like to step up that treatment and am thinking about those foam diffusers that would be light enough to hang in front of it and be easily moved in and out as desired. I understand these need to be painted to be effective which provides a decorative advantage. If this idea has merit I'd probably use the same ones mounted to the walls behind the speakers as well for continuity. So you can see what I'm trying to accomplish. What have you done here and what other considerations should I be aware of? And which manufactures do you recommend? Thanks!

I use the PI Audio diffusers. They work extremely well in my listening room, easy to pin to drywall, and don't cost an arm and a leg👍.

Another happy PI Audio customer here. I use the Command Picture Hanging Strips, the ones with velcro.

Just got Mr. T panels from Greg. Holy crap do they ever make a difference. Sound stage just got even deeper and more defined. My Open baffle speakers definitely needed them on the front wall.

I built my own using QRDude.
Foam cut with hot wire and then a thin set applied with
a small kinife on the foam, then paint to match.
It really was easier than it looks.
It was fun to design and build as well......but, I'm a DIY nut.
I must of had these for 8 or 9 years now.

This was an earlier attempt.....just a poly diffusor made simple with a 1/8" of
your choice of panel....

I might add DIY absorbers to my "to do" list but diffusers not likely! That amp stand is spectacular, if you built that would you mind sharing the details please?
