Vandersteen Subs
« on: 13 Jun 2020, 12:29 pm »
I’m new here and would like to hear opinions on powered subs.  Has anyone tried Vandersteen’s new Sub 3?  I’m wondering how it compares sonically to the previous generation Vandersteen 2wq sub.  If anyone’s running other subs you really like, please chime in.  I tried to find a circle dedicated to sub woofers and may have overlooked it.  If so, please put this post in the correct circle.  Thx!

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

We have no sub section, I could move this to Vandersteen Circle but there is little moving there.

There are threads in the 'Home Theater and Video' Circle - e.g. https://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=162188.0

I could suggest DIY this woofer in a BR 180L box:
