New user from the Pacific Northwest

Hello,

Im a total noob and want to learn more about the wonderful art of speaker building. The combination of woodworking/cabinetry, speakers and electronics has always fascinated me.
Now that my kids are getting older, I MAY have sometime to dive into a novice speaker build, but want to research all my options first.

I think your best option are a simple OB fullrange driver if you have space in your room, a easy to made 15''($399/pair) floorstander not tiny mini monitor.

PNW is big space. Where specifically? The PNW is well represented here - got folks from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, B.C. I’m in the Willamette Valley.
