Help with BryFI
« on: 5 Dec 2018, 10:35 pm »
I just received a BryFi today (a used one from a Bryston dealer). I had it going out of the box, but after running an update the thing has become inoperable:

1. I can no longer access the web-based BryFi app on my computer or iPad
2. The stand-alone BryFi app cannot detect the BryFi
2. The power button no longer turns the unit off (I have to hold the power button for 20 seconds)
3. I can connect through Airplay, but there's no volume control (and the volume appears to be at full!)

Anyone have any ideas. I am totally frustrated....

I bought the BryFi from an authorized dealer in Montreal.

Adam was very helpful. Sent me a new microSD card and all works fine.
