300 pass thru socket

300 pass thru socket

I have a 300b amp that the sockets r recessed into the chassis.  I want to try sme other tubes but they dont fit because their diameter is too large.  Is there a pass thru socket so I can raise the level and and use the larger diameter tubes?

Yes there is, usually is a socket converter to other tube type no for the same tube, but you may buy some sockets and DIY:

Generally they are called "socket savers".  I ran one search but nothing for 4-pin tubes came up.

Ia 300b.  I dont want to convert just want to extend it.

Seems most 300Bs have the same base and pins,
but this hobby can be strange occasionally.
