THX specifications

THX specifications

James,

It seems that all the THX ST range of amplifiers I have include the ability to set the amp to local or remote power on.

Was this a requirement for qualifying for THX designation?

It is clear that this was an option, independent of THX certification..... so a non-THX amp could be ordered back then with that option.

Yes that was the requirement as well as 28dB of gain
