I am thinking of using the Stratos for LF and the Khartago for HF.

Wouldn't it be better to use identical amps to biamp due to the difference in gain from using two different amps?

Hi guys

I had the chance to try my Tempest, Khartago and Stratos Plus in a Bi-amp set-up.

The owner uses Harman Kardon Signature 1,0 and 1,5 to bi-amp his JBL 250. I listend to this set-up in about an hour and must say it sounded good.

We switched to a complete Odyssey set-up. As I only have 1 out on the Tempest we used a Y-connector which worked just fine.

The sound of the set-up was every bit as good as with the H/K. If anything the sound was a bit more refinded with the Odyssey than the H/K. The mid was more detailed and the bass deeper.

All in all the Odyssey/JBL set-up was really good. Maybe not as Rock'n'Roll as the with the H/K, but more refinded without loosing dynamics. More a  matter of taste than quality. I can recommend anyone who has JBL 250 to try Odyssey.
