[Shear Bliss VMPS]

It seems I have a Spiral Tweeter out ..... looking for one or perhaps a pair to get my 626Rs back up, anybody have extras ???

Go to the VMPS page and contact John Casler. He worked directly with Brian and may know of tweeters available - Buy 2 and change both.

I believe the Infinity EMIT-R was close, if not identical, to the tweeters Brian used in the base model 626R.  If so, those are easily found on eBay.  This seller even has new units for sale (none mine):

If the impedance matches what you're replacing, it should work fine.

ATD was the original supplier. Infinity used them back in the day too. Both ATD distributors listed are out of business. You may search EBAY for them. It’s the RDT-25. There are a number of tweeters that are good drop-ins. Check Madisound - they have a great selection. Also, Genesis speakers uses a new iteration of the RDT-25 which makes sense in that Arnie Nudell of Infinity now designs their speakers. The BG Neo3 series with a round faceplate would also be good replacements. Visit Parts Express for them. As Brian said - price/performance is the key and the BG sounds MANY times its cost.
