Hi all, i am just about to buy a 4B SST2 and I've been told that a couple of years ago there was a relevant update in the transformers. Could you please tell me how i can recognize the items that have such upgrade? Can I recognize them by serial number above ... ?

4179 is the serial number with the latest changes but the was no transformer change on the 4, just some input stage changes with mostly capacitors and a change to the soft start circuitry IIRC.

Thank you very much, so i just need to ask/verify that the item is of course "c series" and with serial > 4179

I just ordered my new 4B SST2 giving the above specification, please if there is any other suggestion just forward it to me because I want to be sure to have the latest version.

Given that 4B SST2 will be soon replaced by the Cube series, at least I want to benefit from all the improvements made on this model.
