Hi Don

Go into Audio Devices - bottom of the page on Manic Moose Dashboard and click on the sound card - it will probably be in RED showing it is not being seen by your DAC

OK just try shutting it down and restarting.  Did they test it at the store?

We can have Chris look at it if you put it in service mode.

I will forward this to Chris,

tried that...same thing.
the shop has no wifi or hard connectin.
Bob tried it in  a show room which had a BDP-1 and all it said was MPD ready.
Their wifi couldn't see the BDP-2

THX for James,Chris,Bob(Audioark) for getting back,
I'll sit on my 4'x3' cement pad and have a few more 4 degree Kokanee and not get excited about the no sounds of music.
Will Call Chris in the AM,he likes that :thumb:

The button next to the the Bryston audio device, does it say enable or disable?

If you can view or download the new BDP intro video posted yesturday, one of the very first things covered is the audio devices page

Sounds like your network may not be recognizing the new BDP configuration, i.e., no basic security handshake.

Looks like I'm off to Edmonton to ship back to Bryston.
Chris had me shoot some picts of the install and all looked good.
Looking at ithe picts on the instructions everything lines up..............................soooooo oooooooooooooo
Chris came on remotely and can't access I believe, so it may be the cabling that came with the card or sound card or whatever.
She worked great before, just a little venting ARRGH.

Just got off the ph with mike.
My BDP-2 is on  final check out :thumb:.
I guess one of the cables was installed wrong as there are two connector inserts and was inserted in the wrong one.
Guess it was pretty hard to see.
So all's good cept for my down time,at least it was just an error not a defect :thumb:.
