***SOLD***

For sale is a pair of GR Research O-3 speakers in very good condition. They were professionally built using solid joined black walnut baffles and bases. The sides and rear of the cabinet are textured black. They are beautiful speakers and very wife friendly.

The O-3 was designed to create an omnidirectional sound field. They sound huge for their size. Imaging is superb and much better than one would expect. These speakers were built with Erse XQ inductors and Sonicaps and Erse Pulse X poly caps in the woofer circuit. No Rez lines the interior.  The crossover was modified with a Sonicap Platinum bypass cap in the treble, and a Jupiter Beeswax bypass cap in the mids. The internal wiring was also upgraded. These have the XBL-2 rear drivers.

The O-3 works best well out into a room and away from boundaries. Imaging is pin point and vocals appear to be standing in front of you. All of the instruments are seemingly well placed and the music fills the room. These things play live music in a way that makes it feel live. They are fast, clean, sound powerful, and quite enjoyable to listen to. They really make standard types of speakers sound two dimensional. I also used them for home theater and they sound phenomenal!
