This is Sumiko's best version with on-the-fly VTA-16 mechanism, Sumiko HS12 premium headshell with azimuth adjustment and with premium litz wires and cart screws (that alone is $90 on Needledoctor) and with genuine SOTA pre-drilled armboard ($135 value from SOTA direct). Ready to install on the SOTA turntable. Just plug and play. It was working on the SOTA Sapphire, carefully removed and is now ready for shipping. Tonearm is in perfect shape, no play in bearings that I can detect. Very smooth movements across entire range. Counterweight is smooth. Headshell is pristine.This version has a damping function, reservoir is clean and ready for the damping silicon. The arm height of the FT-4 can be adjusted during play.
I am including Grado XF-3 MM cartridge as-is. It sounds fine with no channel disbalance I can hear. Hours are hard to tell.
