I try to connect to my external hdd connected to my bdp-1, but i get an error. "there was a problem connecting to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" no shared volumes ..........

what could be the problem ?

Is it a USB drive?

Hi Lars,

The BDP will only create the network shares during startup, the proper sequence is to plug the drive into the BDP and then turn the BDP on.
