In case folks are wondering, all the Liberty Cable stuff I've tried so far has been very good.  These have been: Z500 XLR, Z500 RCA Audio, and Z500 coaxial digital audio.  Not just "good for the money", good flat outright at any cost. The cost here being insanely cheap - like $7 for digital audio, $23 for RCA pair, and $24 for XLR pair. They compare favorably - if not better - than much more expensive Wireworld OCC interconnects I've tried / owned.

Sound-wise they have all the virtues of OCC - super smoothness, good depth / width, but the bass suffers slightly.  The connectors for all are great quality, and the wiring itself has nice plush / soft jacket.  Aesthetically the liberty & Z500 / OCC labelling lets it down slightly, but this is really being picky.

Word of caution: the $24 price for the Z500 XLRs is for the PAIR - not single.  The description is not clear and w/ the "choose blue or red" option you think you are ordering 1. So I needed 9 cables and ended up getting 9 PAIRS!  And its no refunds / returns.

Not crying though - these are AWESOME cables, and I'll get use of all of them at some point.  I'm thinking of ordering more of the RCA's as I actually liked them even better than some Acoustic Zen OCC internconects I have as well.

I bought but have not tried out the speaker cables yet.

The speaker cables are excellent as well. I just got 2 pairs of the 2m Z500 RCA connectors yesterday...they seem very well made and even without breaking in sound excellent.

How does one buy some of these? I tried albeit not that hard and gave up trying to navigate through the ordering process.

Here is a link to some speaker cables:

You can type z500 in the search box to see the other cables.

Like RKlein previously, I have to qualify the rating for the Z500 RCA's having listened & compared them to other cables for a bit.  They are somewhat opaque / veiled / etc compared to a good regular OFC cable.  Perhaps they need more breaking in, but for me I found that the darkening / smoothing effect was more pronounced than I would like.  Oddly enough I did not sense this as much with the Z500 XLR's, though they are certainly more veiled again than a good OFC cable.

Tempted to try the Z400 RCA IC as they are all OFC.

My company owns Liberty and let me tell you these are REALLY good deals on quality cables. Last I checked there was still a little stock left although I think it's pretty picked through now. As others said, great cables just not marketed very well.

Just FYI I make zero money from Liberty so it makes no difference to me if you buy or don't.

Was curious if anyone had extra speaker cables from these deals.  Doesn't look like they have any on the site.   I wouldn't mind an extra run or two or the speaker cables.   Should have ordered more.   :duh:

I've removed the personal sales and since it is a year old, I am locking this thread. If Liberty has another sale a new thread can be started.

Just as a reminder; Sweet Deals is for retail sales only, personal sales must be posted in the Trading Post.
