Foobar2000 will play an entire music folder or individual files. Usually I setup the recordings by a folder with full CD's files in them with the folder name of the CD. If you then click on the CD name and send it to the playlist it will play the entire CD.
For PhilA, to use Foobar2000 for Native DSD files, you need to change the output components. There was supposed to be an upgrade awhile back to the DSD output components to make them work correctly.
Rich - have not gotten to it yet. I spent most of the long weekend sitting down in front of the PC - bought dBpoweramp and began ripping my CDs (I had pieces previously done in WMA but decided to try to get as many ripped as I can as I still have classical DSD files to extract and DVD-As to rip) and that's what I'm doing right now (so hopefully less to do after the move).
I read that this what I need to do:
Go to File > Preferences > Output and Select foo_dsd_asio
Go to Tools >SACD> Asio Driver Mode and select 'DSD'
Click 'Apply' and 'OK' and 'OK'
If I don't get to it on my many things to do, we can do it in September. Been breaking in the WyWires USB cable too that I now have on the MS-2 Only about halfway through the CDs. Making back-ups of the back-ups after this effort.
