In the Audioshark audio forum, James Tanner stated that the output impedance of the BDA-2 DAC wasRCA – 72 OhmsXLR – 72 Ohms per leghttp://www.audioshark.org/bryston-audio-40/bda-2-output-impedance-8377.htmlI'm sure, impedance wise, it would drive the power amplifier just fine, but as you know even with a good impedance ratio some users say the sound is not quite as full (lean?) with a passive preamp vs an active preamp stage with gain.Steve
I was just trying to see whether this would work or would using the BHA-1 headphone amplifier as a preamplifier yield better results.
