Please excuse newbie questions.
The SuperV drawings show the 2-12" subs mounted on each side of 3/4" plane offsetting the back of the mounting bezels by 3/4". Is this for convenience or is this for exact driver alignment? If not exact driver alignment, what would be the exact driver alignment (0.0" offset between the backs of the mounting bezels. more, less)?
Also, what is the purpose of mounting the drivers in different directions? Does this average out the forward to backward driver movements (some sort acceleration/deceleration averaging), balance the structural load, both, or something else ?
TIA
