The T1's are that rare headphone that scale perfectly to whatever amp you pair them with. They sound very good even with moderate amps, and just get better and better with higher quality amps.
Very true. I had a pair of T1s for a while and ran them from a variety of amps, all the way from a little Creek OBH-11 (amazingly, a good match BTW) up to an SPL Auditor. They sounded good with everything and the game just got better with better amps. It must be the Tesla technology but I never found the 600ohm impedence to be a problem with anything.
The Auditor was probably the best, or maybe the Schitt Valhalla, but I never found the perfect match and eventually sold them. Personally I thought they always did their best with SS amps, but I know smart people who think precisely the opposite.
