What does this mean for MOG?

CEO David Hyman steps down as CEO of MOG. MOG was just purchased by Beats (Dr. Dre) in July 2012. What, if anything,
do you think this means for the music streaming service, MOG?

Any idea what they intend to do here?

No idea what it means, other than the founder getting out after cashing in, which is pretty normal.

As for the future of MOG, the sale was probably a good thing, as I'm sure the low number of subscribers makes it not very profitable. I'm surprised there hasn't yet been more of a shakeout in this segment, but you can bet that once Apple starts up their streaming service, there will be some major ones.

I'm a MOG subscriber and really like the service, but if it went away tomorrow I wouldn't be heartbroken.

As long as they offer 320kbps streaming, I'll keep using it.  I hope they stick around.  Sometimes getting bought by someone bigger increases longevity, sometimes it doesn't.

MOG has the best SQ of any streaming service. If they stop providing then I just won't stream at all, that's how poor the sq is on the other services I've used compared to MOG. So I am milking it for all it's worth now. My money is they'll change the name to something catchier.
